Fair Acres has the right to retain any kid/kids from any breeding
All animals must be payed in full to leave the farm
Once goats leave Fair Acres we aren't responsible for well being, health, or treatment. It's the buyers responsibility to keep the animals healthy and taken care of. All sales are final.
A 50% deposit is required to hold any animal until pick up. Once a deposit is placed it is expected that you will pick up the animal/goat as SOON as possible unless purchasing a buckling/doeling. Then they can be picked up within 8 to 10 weeks of age.
Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE unless circumstances such as death or illnesses occur.
You have up to 14 days to pick up the goat after deposit is placed, unless previously discussed. A 5 dollar a day boarding fee will be charged after 14 days. Again, this only qualifies for adult does/bucks.
Any no shows will automatically resort in forfeit of the deposit and the animal will be put back up for sale to others.
We understand things come up, if you're traveling a long distance we can be flexible with the 14 day pick up, but we need to have communication and plan a pick up date.
Driveway Breedings
All does must be tested for CAE, CL, Johnee's and so do the rest of the does current herd.
Price varies depending on the buck, if you're interested in a driveway breeding message us to discuss price
We will do discounts on multiples
You are responsible for making sure all does brought to us are in standing heat and ready to be bred
If a doe comes back into heat after being exposed to a buck we will offer another breeding free of charge, honoring the original fee
We aren't responsible for any defects in kids after being born
When doing a driveway breeding we'll monitor the buck/doe for 30 min to an hour and will provide a service memo so that kids are able to be ADGA registered
Lastly, we WANT our bucks kids to be shown, milk tested, and LA'd as much as possible. If you have any questions about any of these programs let us know and we'll try our best to answer any questions you may have. Even smaller herds can participate in milk testing and linear appraisal, it will still be very beneficial to your herd!
